Volunteering
Volunteers make a difference!
These are difficult times for all of us. With all of the uncertainty surrounding school budget allocations and the global economic condition, our community is hurting. However, by pulling together we can make a difference and help provide a better education for the children of our community. Use our new online Volunteer Signup Form to let us know how you’d like to help volunteer. Here are a few of our volunteer opportunities:
The Foundation needs you!
Volunteers Needed:
PHONE BANK CALLERS!
This is our most important volunteer opportunity! If you are looking to make a real difference in the schools, sign up to be a caller during our annual fund drive phone bank. You will not be "cold calling," but will be calling folks who ALREADY are loyal ASF donors or are the parents of Ashland students and asking them for their support. This group effort is fun - with food, refreshments and lots of camaraderie. It's a great feeling to hear all the wonderful things our donors have to say about the important work the ASF does in our schools.
When is it? – When are the dedicated school nights (the nights each school works to get their volunteers at the phone drive)?
April 06 (Tues) – AMS/John Muir Night
April 08 (Thur) – AHS/Willow Wind Night
April 13 (Tues) – Combined Elem. Night
April 15 (Thur) – Combined Elem. Night
Note: You are welcome to volunteer on any night, regardless of your school affiliation.
Where is it? The Windsor Inn (across I-5 on the right)
We will also need a few volunteers who are willing to process paperwork, and volunteers to pick up donated food and get it to the phone bank.

If you're interested in a "hands-on" approach to helping the ASF, or you have a special talent or vocation you would like to share, one of our committees may be just the place for you!
Fundraising Each spring the Ashland Schools Foundation holds it's annual fund drive. An important part of the fund drive is the phone campaign - calling previous donors or current parent's of school-age children and asking them for their support. This group effort is fun - with food, refreshments and lots of camaraderie. It's a great feeling to hear all the wonderful things our donors have to say about the important work the ASF does in our schools.
