We have chosen to support Literacy and Library programs in the district, knowing that literacy is the one skill that creates success across all curriculum areas. Our goal is to see that all students in the Ashland public schools gets the help they need to be highly literate.

In the 2009-10 school year, we funded over $213,000 in Literacy and Library programs in the Ashland public schools. Click here to see the breakdown of those grants.

Our goal for the 2010-11 school year is continue funding those same programs - giving some financial stability in an unstable funding environment.

If we can exceed our fundraising goal for the 2010 annual fund drive, we will use those excess funds to reinstate our Impact Grant program for creative and innovative projects for students in the classroom.
