Keeping Educators in the Classroom

The Ashland School District has a Facilities & Safety Bond on the November Ballot. This bond will pick up after the current bond expires, and will allow the District to make sorely needed improvements to facilities throughout the district. The tax rate for the bond will remain the same community members are already paying, so this is a "no new taxes" situation, but more of an extension of a tax we are already paying to ensure our children have safe and secure facilities when they attend the Ashland public schools.
The Ashland Schools Foundation Board of Directors passed a resolution at their Oct 3 board meeting in support of the Bond, and urge all voting community members to support the schools of Ashland by voting YES on Measure 15-178.

UPDATE: Elementary After-School Enrichment Program (ASEP) 

Many of our community members generously game donations to support the 2nd year of ASF's new after school program in the elementary schools. We did not reach our entire $50,000 goal, but we did raise enough that we planned to move forward with the program for 2018-19. Unfortunately, the administrators of the program at SOU, suddenly had a new program added to their department that has raised their workload to capacity and they are no longer able to administer the ASEP program. ASF has been working throughout the late summer/early fall to try to arrange an alternate administrator, but we have been unsuccessful.

We are sad to announce that the ASEP program will not be continuing this school year. Donors who gave gifts restricted to the ASEP program will be contacted in the next month to determine whether they want to move their donations to other programs, or would like them returned. 

We hope the program will be returning to the schools in the future, but it will not be in place during the 2018-19 school year. Thank you for all your support.

     2018 Annual Fund Drive


The 29th annual fund drive of the Ashland Schools Foundation kicked off in early April. Donors and all parents of students in the Ashland Schools were mailed donation requests, and four calling nights were held where volunteers came together to call potential donors and request support. These funds go to all sites in our school district to provide extra teachers, specialists and educational assistants; to provide funds for teachers who are implementing hands-on, innovative projects with their classrooms through our Impact Grants program; and to fully fund the Student Tutor Center and Science Lab Aides programs at Ashland High School. 

The fund drive was moderately successful, but more donations are needed by December 31 to meet our goal for the year. Click on the blue DONATE NOW button above to make a single or recurring donation to the Ashland Schools Foundation. Your support is truly appreciated.



The NEW Robert W. Julian Track at Ashland High has been installed! We are still accepting donations to improve field event facilities and for needed equipment.

The Ashland Kiwanis, the Ashland Schools Foundation, and Yogurt Hut present the 10th annual Monster Dash Run for Education! The event will be held on Saturday, October 27 in Lithia Park in Ashland Oregon.

NOTE: Race-day registration & Packet Pickup beginning at 9:00 am. Packets may also be picked up at the Historic Armory on Friday, 10/26 from 2pm - 8pm. 


  9:00 am: Race Day registration, packet pickup 
10:00 am: 1-mile Fun Run/Walk begins
10:45 am: 10K Run & 5K Run/Walk begins together

All events are CHIP TIMED!
